Michelle Y. Talbert is a recovering attorney who hosts #unnetworking trainings, masterminds and goal-setting intensives for women in business around the country with her flagship brand, Her Power Moves - Broward, based in South Florida. In January 2020 Michelle opened the doors to Her Power Space, in Sunrise, FL—a woman forward, men welcoming, hospitality-based coworking and event venue that includes a content creation studio, for podcasting and video recording. Michelle is also the Chief Curator of the online community where people do commerce, The UnChamber.
Michelle's entire purpose in life is to be the Queen of online and in-person communities where people in business can connect and ethically create cashflow.
Michelle is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and holds a Certificate in Business Policy and Management from the Wharton School of Business, all achieved while raising her two school-aged children as a divorced, single mom. Originally from New York City, Michelle lives in Broward County, FL.
As a 'non techie' startup founder, she's served as a 'Sensei' (teams mentor) for the AT&T Hackathon held at Howard University and was a member of the 2014 Lean Startup Machine winning team.
After attending community college part-time for 10 years, while working working as a secretary by day and raising her children, she transferred to Cornell University and then went on to receive her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School with a Business Certificate from Wharton School of Business. Michelle left the full-time practice of law in 2012. She has been featured in Forbes, EBONY and USA Today.
